Waiver
I agree that if I participate in this physical activity, program or event (the "Event") or use an Event facility or Event premises, I do so at my own risk. I agree that I am voluntarily participating in the Event and using Event facilities or premises and assume all risk of injury, illness, death, damage or loss to me or my property that might result, in regards to any and all injuries suffered by me while running, traveling to or from or participating in this event , including without limitation any loss or theft of personal property. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment in the event of an injury, accident and/or illness during the Event. I agree on behalf of myself (and my personal representatives, heirs, executors, administrators, agents and assigns) to release and discharge Boys & Girls Club of West Cook County, all Event Sponsors, race volunteers, race management, the City of Hillside, City of Berkely, any and all municipal agencies whose property and/or personnel are used, and any other companies or individuals related to the Event, along with their respective agents, servants, volunteers, employees, insurers, and assigns, from any and all claims or causes of action for personal injury or wrongful death, whether known or unknown. I give my full permission to Boys & Girls Club of West Cook County and their sponsors and corporate partners to use any photographs, videotapes, audiotapes or other recordings of me that are made during the course of the event.
I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Waiver and Release and fully understand that is a release of liability, and by signing below, I am waiving any and all rights to bring legal action against any and all of the above-named parties as a result of my participation of the Event.
I understand that there are NO REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, ROLLOVERS, OR MEDICAL COMPS.
Any participant who conducts him- or herself in an unsportsmanlike manner or who is offensive in action or language to event officials, other participants, volunteers, or spectators may be disqualified and removed from the event.
